Creation date : 2022 Materials : Mixed media, augmented reality (AR) Size : L3.3 xH14.98 m On Zhongzheng Road, after some old houses were demolished and the road was expanded, this interior wall became an exterior one. Pieces of furniture, tiles, and paint, along with the remains of old structures, are thus revealed through the wall. The lecturers and students of the Department of Fine Arts, Tung Hai University drew an artistic project and invited the public to take part through augmented reality (AR). The people, events, and objects of Fugang and “ally aesthetics” are presented as a narrative of space, while restructuring a local lifestyle. This artwork includes town memory, perspectives for the future, a combination of tradition and modernity, and the interweaving of reality and dreams |
CHANG Hwei - Lan、WANG Song-Ho、WU Chiu-Hua、CHANG Yun-Chia、CHAN Tsz-Chung、CHEN Chi-Wen、LIANG Hsuan-Jui
Hui-Lan Chang: An art creator and independent curator, she is a full-time associate professor in the Department of fine arts of Donghai University. She has obtained a Higher national diploma in plastic expression/ Diplôme national supérieur d'expression plastique (DNSEP) and a master's degree from the Graduate Institute of Plastic Arts of the University of Toulouse and the research project on the environmental color of the Institute of Applied Arts (DESS). Song-He Wang: Studying at the Graduate Institute of Fine Arts of Donghai University, he worked in an architectural firm and a printing company. And he is now a part-time teacher of new media art at Taichung Municipal Cingshuei Senior High School. Most of his creations use digital media to explore the spatial relationship between virtual and reality. Qiu-Hua Wu: She Graduated from the Department of Fine Arts of Donghai University. Most of her creations start from emotion and use compound media to explore the dialogue between the inner and the outer world. She also has a lot of experience in cross-field public art projects with campus, industry, and cultural and creative product design. Yun-Jia Chang: She graduated from the Department of Visual Arts and Design of the National University of Tainan. Currently, she studies at the Graduate Institute of Fine Arts of Donghai University, majoring in glue painting. She has won the New Star Award of Young Art Kaohsiung 2022 and has experienced many group exhibitions and art fairs. Zi-Cong Chen: He graduated from the Department of Landscape Architecture of Donghai University, and currently studies at the Graduate Institute of Fine Arts of Donghai University. His works often use compound media and space as the medium. He has studied tours in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Japan. Qi-Wen Chen: He studies at the Graduate Institute of Fine Arts of Donghai University and works as an acting artist and graphic designer for the gallery. He creates modern humanities and inner emotions by taking traditional media as the spirit and context. Xuan-Rui Liang: He studies at the Graduate Institute of Fine Arts of Donghai University. He explores various creative possibilities from his living environment and experience to social issues. Covering space and wall painting are his diverse creative media. |
