Many rice mills were established near Fugang’s train station for convenient transport. In fact, the station served as the town’s business hub in the old days. Following such a track of history, I decided to make art on a wall of a civilian residence beside Yong Chang Rice Mill. In the picture are “bands” of lush rice fields accompanied by irrigation water. It suggests the endless energy of life. In the flow of time, one can discover Fugang’s glorious past and its “golden miracle.”
